Your care

Feedback and complaints.

How to raise something with the practice directly, what happens next, and the independent avenues open to you at any time.

Tell the practice directly.

If something in your care did not go the way it should have, the practice would rather hear it than not. Feedback goes straight to the rooms and is read.

What to expect.

Feedback and complaints are acknowledged within two business days. A substantive response follows, usually within ten business days, and longer only if a clinical review is required, in which case you will be told that and given a timeframe.

Raising a concern will not affect your care. If you would prefer to be seen by another surgeon, that will be arranged without difficulty.

If you would rather not come to us.

You are entitled to raise a concern externally at any point, and you do not have to contact the practice first.

A note on public reviews.

This site does not publish patient testimonials or review ratings, and does not ask patients to leave them. Australian law restricts the use of testimonials in advertising a regulated health service. That is a deliberate decision rather than an oversight, and it is also why feedback here is routed privately to the practice rather than to a public platform.

This page provides general information about a medical condition and a surgical procedure. It is not individual medical advice and does not replace consultation with a qualified practitioner. Outcomes vary between individuals and all surgery carries risk. A referral is needed for a consultation with Professor Daevyd Rodda; without one, you can start with the practice nurse practitioner, who can provide it.
